2019 Photographer of the Year – Deborah Cole

Congratulations to Deborah Cole, winner of POY 2019!

Deborah Cole will receive a large print of her favorite photo and $100 Precision Camera gift certificate

To earn this title, the winning photographer must first be a member in the club. Then, they must have the highest number of overall points in the club’s monthly digital photography competitions at the end of the year.

Club members gain one point for each image entered, as well as additional points awarded by the jury for first, second, third, or honorable mention award levels. There are three different classes indicating skill levels: novice, intermediate, and advanced. More about rules for monthly competition are on the website. The Photographer of the Year winner will come from the Advanced Class in 2020, but there will be recognition for most points in each class. It’s all about the total points!
