Speaker – Josh Baker on the Creative Process
Due to a logistics issue, our original speaker, Anthony Maddaloni, will not be able to make it to our June 6 meeting. (We’ll reschedule Anthony for a later date)
So instead, club founder Josh Baker will be judging this week’s competition, and will be talking to us about one of his favorite topics – the Creative Process. The discussion will start with the question ‘How Do you Create?”, and will go on to explore how you define your vision, and from that, jump starting your creative process with new ways of thinking and now tools. It ought to be a fun and engaging discussion!
Josh is a founder of NAPfS, and is co-owner of Azul Ox Visuals. See his work at azulox.com

June’s digital competition theme is Out on a Limb / Flight. You can submit up to two images of your choice, provided the images were taken no longer than 2 years ago. Josh Baker will be the judge.
Submissions are divided into three classes – Class 1 (novice), Class 2 (intermediate), and Class 3 (expert). Each club member is free to choose which class to enter; however, please review the new guidelines and select the class that you most closely qualify for. For more info, read this post about classes.
The monthly NAPƒS digital competition is meant to be fun, inspirational, and educational. The judging and associated critiques are positive, supportive, and a useful learning tool.
A reminder – you must join NAPƒS to take part in 2019 competitions. The cost of membership is only $24, and your annual contribution is used 100% in support of club operations and activities.
