The Bats of McNeil Bridge
Come Join the NAPfS camera club in an outdoor workshop! This month we will combine instruction with onsite photography and experience one of the most unique phenomenon of the Austin area, bat bridges. We’ll be visiting the McNeil Road overpass bridge in Round Rock. Randy Dykstra will be teaching techniques to photograph this very difficult wildlife opportunity, and we will witness and have an opportunity to shoot the show the bats and local hawks will put on for us. In addition, we will get a full moon rising at about 7:25pm and sun setting at 7:40pm. All of this should combine to make a really fun and interesting workshop.
Participants should bring their best telephoto lens and tripod.
