Chris Sherman of Over Austin
Chris will speak to the group about aerial and aerial 360 photography.
About Chris Sherman
Christopher V. Sherman is a fine art photographer specializing in Austin, Texas and the Texas Hill Country. He primarily shoots under the brand name Over Austin.
Most of Chris’ work is shot from a flying camera (also known as a drone) but he also has been known to shoot long exposures from the ground with his Nikon. Chris began flying small consumer camera drones in 2010. Since that time likely logged close to 1,000 drone flights but honestly hasn’t counted them all.
His work has been featured in the Austin American Statesman as well as numerous online outlets. His photos and videos are frequently aired on KXAN, KVUE, Fox 7 Austin and KEYE and more than 45,000 people follow his work on social media. He posts photos daily to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Chris holds an FAA Remote Pilot License, allowing him to legally shoot commercial aerial photography in the United States. You can also view his work at photos.overaustin.com
