Speaker – Adrian Dahood-Fritz
A Scientist’s View of Antarctica
Adrian is a marine biologist who has work all over the world studying marine mammals and other marine creatures. She visited all seven continents in recent years and has been to Antarctica each year since 2010. Her experiences include research work in Alaska, Florida, New Zealand, Russia and Antarctica.
During numerous trips to Antarctica for work and research, Adrian has had a back stage pass to one of the least accessible and starkly beautiful places on the planet. From remote field research camps to south pole infrastructure she has visited most off-the-map places on the southern continent.
